UT Dallas Postdoctoral Association

The University of Texas at Dallas Postdoctoral Association, hereafter referred to as the UTDPDA, exists to support and enrich UTD through facilitating postdoctoral scholars at UTD in their efforts toward the betterment of the University and society by:

  1. Acting as a liaison for postdoctoral scholars to the University and representing the interests of postdoctoral scholars.
  2. Supporting the professional development of postdoctoral scholars by enriching the available career development opportunities.
  3. Fostering connections between postdoctoral scholars to create a community at UTD.
  4. Representing all domestic and international postdoctoral scholars at UTD, and advocating for their inclusion in supportive and enriching environments.

The UTDPDA welcomes all individuals who hold a research doctorate but who are not faculty to participate in UTDPDA events and administration. A research doctorate refers to a PhD, an MD, a DO, a PharmD, or any other equivalent doctoral degree used in the pursuit of research.
